A motivated, kind-hearted person, Shonté Springer is a 20-year-old undergrad enrolled in the Biological and Chemical department of The University Of The West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, at age 7, she joined the Girl Guides Association of Barbados and attained one of the highest awards within the association, the Barbados Brownie Award. Shonté became a member of Key Club International during her secondary school life, which coupled her love for science with her new found love for service, with this, she went on to volunteer at various beach clean-ups around Barbados. Shonté has decided to join the CHyS family to share her knowledge and spread love as she believes children are the future.
