Aria Goodridge

Aria Goodridge is pursuing a career in energy engineering and renewable technologies at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. Her major is in Electronics and Alternative Energy Systems. With her foundation in science from secondary school, she is passionate about technology and sustainable development. She has worked Congress-WBN Global Communications and Technology to support their events and has participated in Robotics camps.

Currently, Aria is researching the history of energy in Barbados and the Caribbean for the CHyS. This is an area in which she has research experience at her university’s Cave Hill Campus focused especially on energy production in relation to the sugar cane and rum distillery industries of Barbados.

Aria is determined to drive social change through the creative dissemination of relevant information.
