Signal-To-Noise Communications Camps

The Centre for Hybrid Studies (CHyS) presents the Signal-to-Noise (S-T-N) camps, this series of fun-filled, educational camps are scheduled to take place during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.

The ages of students eligible for camp range from ages 8 to 16.

S-T-N is fully inclusive.

Our campers learn the importance of communication through theoretical and practical Science, History & Culture.
Some forms of Education through S-T-N camps include Music Production, Sign Language, Film Making, Dancing, Drumming and so much more.
S-T-N camps use strategic applications of educational fun to merge theoretical and practical lessons that aid in the development of many skills in students.

Our campers tour numerous establishments and experiment with a wide range of communication exhibits from past and present technologies.

**Additionally, there will be;

Short Wave Radio Operation, Morse Code, Braille, Sign Language, Songwriting and Studio Recording, Spoken Word, Introduction to Journalism, Film Making, Fashion Design
  • “Campers learn the importance of communication through music production, drumming, film making, dance, sign language, braille, morse code, binary code and much more!”
